Full Description

{1} To the north of the hollow way a series of positive magnetic anomalies demarcate an irregularly shaped ditched enclosure. However, there are few other anomalies suggestive of medieval settlement activity to the north of the hollow way. Therefore, it is possible that the roadway may have formed a significant boundary to the extent of the village, or a change of land use.
