Full Description
{1} Later fieldwork produced a wide scatter of Roman pottery and a small area with possible hand-made Iron Age pottery within it. Some worked flints were also discovered.
{2} Further fieldwalking has produced a wide scatter of Romano-British sherds and a small area of black shelly hand-made Iron Age pottery, some with decorated rims. The presence of worked flints suggests very early occupation.
