Summary
Three storey brick built factory with basement, large for the size of the village, carrying datestone 1872 with the initials I N C. Its five bay gable end is on the street and it stretches back six bays. There is a three storey privy tower towards the rear.Constructed as Wallis' clothing factory, later part of Wallis and Linnell. Carved stone faces protruding from the brickwork on the front end of the building

Full Description
{1} Factory visited just after closure. Machinery etc still intact at time of inspection. Interesting as the factory is something of an outpost of the main boot and shoe centres in Northamptonshire.
