Full Description
{1} Site visit to discuss replaing old bridge with new one. Remains of old bridge to be used in a new farm vehicle ford. Observations: sub-structure - small element remains to form bridge over river - considerably reworked with use of RSJs, concrete struts etc. On bridge itself stone or concrete struts at diagonals.
{2} The deeply cut leat survives on the north east side of the river but was dry although there was a new bridge spanning its entry into the tailpond. It is possible there are some below ground level remains of this mill and the associated buildings.
