Summary
Cropmarks of an extensive area of ring ditches, possibly Bronze Age round barrows, and rectilinear and curvilinear enclosures. There appears to be more than one phase of activity. Fieldwalking survey has found a scatter of worked flint.

Full Description
{1} A scatter of 12 struck flints, including scrapers and a core were found in February during field survey. A few struck flints were also found in adjacent fields. SP 8067 7132
{2} Ring Ditch, Enclosures and Ditches, 400 m north-west of the church. Air photographs show a large ring ditch 40 m in diameter, apparently overlying two conjoined rectangular enclosures. The east enclosure has an L-shaped feature within it and various ditches or incomplete enclosures extend west and south.
{3} Very faint cropmark of a possible ring ditch at NCCAP:SP8071/009-10 + NCCAP:SP8171/013
{4} A scatter of worked flints, including scrapers and a core, has been recorded at SP807712.
