Full Description

{1} A small fragment of metalworking slag was collected from the surface of field 6 and another from field 7. One contains numerous gaseous voids and may be furnace clinker while the other is more solid with a higher ferrous content. The date of these finds is uncertain and valid conclusions cannot be drawn from these spatially disparate and possibly imported finds.
