Full Description
{1} A further medieval estate, possibly known as Survey, may have lain near Surney Bridge to the south west of the parish. However, there is no early documentation or field evidence to support this hypothesis, although on the enclosure map of 1765 a piece of land close to Watling Street is called Surney Field.
