Full Description

{1} Two pits were revealed towards the centre of the trench. Pit (504) was oval and measured approximately 1.50m by at least 1.97m, with a depth of 0.1 8m. It was cut by later pit (505) and contained two small sherds of medieval pottery. Pit (505) was only partially exposed within the trench but was sub- rectangular, measuring approximately 0.88m by at least 0.86m, with a depth of 0.38m. No dating evidence was recovered.
