Full Description

{1} Oundle has many remains of its once extensive brewing and malting industry. A substantial brick maltings with lucam at TL044888 has been converted to housing. [SMR note 13/11/2008: not sure which building this refers to, as most appear to be stone-built from their descriptions.]

{2} Former river wharf adjacent to Station Road, where it crosses the River Nene. Most of the wharf buildings have been demolished or converted to residences (some of which are Grade II Listed Buildings).

{3} Thought that the photo is of the wharf at the north bridge but unsure; may be south bridge.
