Full Description
{1} Two circular ponds or 'moats' with central circular islands on either side of the river, in woodland; function uncertain.
{3} In the grounds of Wilderness House and immediately north of the Clipston Road are two circular ditches, 5-7m wide and 22m in diameter. They lie either side of the River Ise and are linked to it by narrow channels. A broad, linear hollow to the south and south-east, immediately below the road, is a medieval trackway running west from the village. Both ditches and hollow way seem to have been created, or re-used, as garden water features. Their date is unknown.
