Full Description

{1} Fieldname: Great Mill Field.

{2}Plan, 0.2m high. Road crossing ridge and furrow towards mound visible on aerial photographs.

{3} Mound c20m diameter; formerly surrounded by ridge and furrow but relationship uncertain.

{5} At SP 58295398 is a ploughed down mound c 0.2m. High. On AP's (a) a road can be seen crossing rig and furrow towards the mound suggesting that it is a mill mound. A previous farmer of the site said he has never found any traces of a building there.

{6} No change to the field report of 30 4 70. At present under plough. Surveyed on 1:2500 Antiquity Model.
