Monument record 1668/0/39 - Possible Medieval/Post Medieval Building Platforms, Grafton Regis

Fragmentary earthwork remains of former medieval/post-medieval house sites on the south side of Bozenham Mill Lane. On a map of 1700 three small buildings are depicted

{1} Medieval/post-medieval earthworks; fragmentary remains of small embanked closes; contain areas of uneven ground which are probably houses;

{2} North of the boundary the early map {3} shows three smallish buildings; their sites were marked by a series of irregular scarps (marked 'h' on the earthwork plan).

{5}Earthworks of medieval house platforms within short closes on either side of a hollow way running to the south-west out of existing road along the hedgeline; 1980; {6} Partial plan;
