Summary

Medieval pillow mound in Fawsley Park. It comprises a rectangular flat-topped mound 27 metres by 7-8 metres and 1.5 metres high. The mound is 3 metres - 4 metres wide across the top. There are no traces of a ditch.

Full Description

{1} To the north, at the back of the house, are other poorly defined earthworks including a rectangular flat-topped mound, orientated north-west to south-east. It is 7m x 4m and less than 0.25m high. Possibly a pillow mound.
