Full Description

{1} Sub rectangular ditched enclosure with entrance on north side. This might possibly be connected with the rectangular feature marked on the map in Archaeologia 35.

{3} Enclosure (?) (centred on SP 75205720), S. of Wootton Hall, on Great Oolite Limestone, at 92 m. above OD. An Air photograph shows rather vague cropmarks which may be a rectangular enclosure. A further air photograph, taken in 1978, record pits and a ring ditch (?) in the same area. A site is marked in this area on a mid 19th century map of archaeological sites.
