Monument record 3310/0/8 - Possible Iron Age Triple-Ditch System

{1} Three positive linear anomalies, which cross the survey area from north-west to south-east. These perhaps represent a triple ditch system. These features are generally believed to be boundary features of Iron Age date.

{2} Three parallel gullies aligned north west by south east. The three gullies were 7.9m and 5.7m apart centre to centre. All the gullies had the same profiles, c.0.49m wide and 0.39m deep with U-shaped profiles and flat bases. No dating evidence was recovered and the features may be part off a drainage system running down the field.
