Description

{1} An archaeological geophysical survey was carried out ahead of wind farm expansion. Five sample blocks with a combined area of 12ha were surveyed. The survey revealed three small ditched enclosures of probable Iron Age or Romano-British date, a possible triple ditch system, several other ditches and pits, and extensive ridge and furrow of medieval origin. Two exceptionally large ferrous anomalies were also detected.
