Full Description
{1} Two pits were seen in trench 1. Pit 107 was at the north east of the trench: it was oval in shape with steep sides but was not bottomed. It was 1.5m wide and at least 0.22m deep and was overlain by a layer of clay contaiing burnt cobbles and flint and charcoal lumps. Five metres to the south west was a small oval pit, 0.58m wide and 0.28m deep whose fill contained fragments of burnt bone and charcoal lumps. Neither pit contained any finds.
