Description

{1} In February 2011 an archaeological trial trench evaluation of land at Nene Country Park, Northampton, was carried out prior to the application for planning permission for construction of a car park. Two pits, on of which contained considerable burnt stone and flint were present, together with a furrow of a medieval field cultivation. Two of these features had been identified during a previous geophysical survey.
