Full Description
{1} Two sets of parallel curvilinear anomalies were detected possibly indicating ditches up to 250m in total length.
{2} A pair of parallel ditches in trenches 49, 52 and 53 as well as other ditches and gullies in trenches 46, 48, 50 and 54. The parallel ditches were aligned south to north and correspond with a geophysical anomaly. The western ditch was up to 2m wide and 0.3m deep. The eastern ditch was up to 1.55m wide and 0.55m deep. Two ditches in trench 50 mirrored the line of the parallel ditches and a terminal of a ditch was recorded in trench 52. Three parallel gullies on a west to east alignment in trenches 48 and 54 may be the surviving bases of furrows.
