Summary

A ring ditch with no evidence of a surviving internal mound. A single sherd of Bronze Age pottery was found in the ditch fill.

Full Description

{1} A penannular anomaly, probably reflecting a ring ditch 20m in diameter, with a southwest facing entrance.

{2} The ring ditch was found to be 21.5m in diameter with no indication of a surviving mound. No internal features were present within the trench. The unexcavated eastern arm of the ditch was 2.1m wide. The western arm was 2.34m wide and 0.39m deep with a gently sloped V-shaped profile. A single small abraded sherd of Early Bronze Age pottery was recovered.
