Full Description

{1} Two possibly earlier walls were identified by this activity, both made of ironstone blocks with minimal mortaring and descending below the base of the trench dug. They extended parallel with the road, approximately 30m from the frontage and 10m apart and were probably cellar walls. This cellar was backfilled with rubble and soil containing pottery dating to the late 17th century - early 18th century.
