Full Description

{1} An ironstone foundation wall was not fully excavated as it was unearthed at the base of the trench. No cut was found in the upper trench layers which infers it was not robbed but was reburied. It cannot be ascertained whether this was a deliberate wall burial or if the blocks are simply discarded pieces from earlier work.
