Built prior to 1885 of coursed, squared ironstone with a hipped, slate roof. Two storeys.

Full Description
{1} Located on the east side of the farmyard complex. It is constructed in regularly coursed ironstone in varying thicknesses and has a hipped roof covered in slate.
Stables of this type with a first floor hayloft (sometimes also used as a granary) were prevalent in the 18th century and early 19th century.
Building B forms a continuous north-south range with building A, extending south from it.
Earlier cartsheds , where idenitied, were built to house a single vehicle. Larger structures such as Building B became more common as vehicle sizes increased during the 19th century.
