Full Description

{1} Brickworks were disused by 1900.

{2} Two small works close together (at SP 510511 and 511509) and known to have existed from 1882-1900. In 1894 the works are run by Samuel Allen and the 1900 6" OS map shows the latter as disused but the former as working, though the buildings have gone. There was one kiln in each yard.
