Full Description

{1} A wall cut with a vertical side and a flat base, filled with a tightly packed rubble deposit. Two walls at right angles to each other were also seen, constructed of dry laid small and medium sub-angular rough limestone slabs placed within a shallow construction cut.
North west of the wall was a layer 11.5m wide and 0.12m deep, characterised by unbonded sub-angular and sub-rounded limestone fragments.
A ditch 1.4m wide and 0.36m deep containing a 19th century iron bolt.
The features appear to be post medieval in date and possibly represent the walls of an agricultural outbuilding and associated yard surface. The 19th century ditch may be contemporary.
