Full Description

{1} A parallel series of positive and negative linear magnetic anomalies were detected across the entirety of the study area, aligned northwest to southeast, and are interpreted as the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation. The distance between the furrows measures an average of 7m which is indicative of it dating to the medieval period.

{2} Although the geophysical survey detected possible evidence for ridge and furrow cultivation, no furrows were observed within the trenches, with in plan or section. The suggests the anomalies related to recent cultivation.
