Full Description

{1} Brick built stable block comprising a two storey stable block with tack room over, a lean-to implement shed at the rear and an extension at the south end previously used as a workshop.
The stable block is built in 9" local clay bricks laid Flemish garden wall bond with a Welsh slate roof with corbelled brick eaves and rubbed brick bullnosed reveals to the two stable entrances. The building is much modified but occupies the same footprnit as on the 1st edition OS map. The covered storage lean-to on the east side has been extensively altered and one of the three bays filled in with 20th century additions. The workshop has a later 20th century roof which contains a concrete floor with deeding trough. There is nothing remarkable about this building which is in a poor state of structural repair and is due to be extensively rebuilt.
