Abstract/Summary

Maidwell Lodge is being converted from redundant agricultural use to an equine centre including the retention of two existing steel framed barns, an existing modern bungalow, the conversion of a brick built stable block and new facilities including a new barn, horse exerciser and menage. The oldest surviving building from the 1885 map are put to re-use with the stable block being converted to accommodation for the grooms and the stone barn being converted into a holiday let.
