Full Description

{1} A large stone barn, now roofed with corrugated iron. At the west end of the south side, the upper wall is not of stone but is weather-boarded. In the past, this could have been louvred in which case it would be similar to the drying sheds at small Oxfordshire paper mills. As yet, no documentary evidence has been found of Croughton Mill having been used for papermaking.
