Full Description

{1} About 100m to the west of the settlement site in Field 6 are another few features, possibly ditches.

{2} Excavation of settlement site 2 was undertaken during construction of the Hannington to Pitsford Pipeline. Parts of two enclosures were identified in the pipeline corridor- the corner of a rectilinear enclosure at least 25m long and 8m wide and part of a sub-circular enclosure c11m wide and at least 6m long. Pottery was only recovered from the rectilinear enclosure.
