Rectangular enclosures and ditches on air photographs

{2} SP 778 691 Rectangular enclosure found during 1967 using aerial photography.

{3} Enclosure (SP 778 690) in the N of the parish on the edge of Pitsford Reservoir, on sand and clay at 95 m. above OD. Air photographs (in NMR) show a rectangular enclosure with traces of ditches, perhaps parts of further enclosures to the N, NW and S.

{5} A low oblique air photograph, in the possession of R Hollowell, shows a sub-rectangular ditched enclosure measuring approx 50.0m x 30.0m at SP 7781 6907. An entrance is visible in the west face.
The site is under corn stubble and pasture; no visible remains.
