Full Description

{1} In T1 a possible small ditch cut the limestone. It ran in a south-westerly direction across the trench for 2m before ending in a rounded terminal. It was concave in profile, 1.6m wide x 0.27m deep. Its fill produced a single sherd of medieval pottery. This feature is on the same alignment as the ridge and furrow and is probably related to the pattern of medieval cultivation.
Elsewhere within T1 furrows from medieval cultivation were noted.
