Full Description

{1} The eastern half of Field 2 was walked. It yielded prehistoric worked flint (waste flakes x 38, flakes x 5, cores x 3, blades x 6, scrapers x 5). The struck and worked flint occurred chiefly on the higher ground at the north and east of the field, where flint cores and scrapers also cluster. In particular, flakes and scrapers occur in the general area of the known cropmark site. The small number of lithic artefacts does not suggest significant activity.
