Full Description

{1} A total of 10.14ha was walked in the eastern half of Field 3. Prehistoric flints comprised waste flakes x 11, utilised flakes x 9, biface tools x 2, blades x 7, scrapers x 8. Struck and worked flints generally occur in relatively larger numbers in the western part of the area, perhaps as the continuation of a north-south distribution of similar material in Field 2 (HER 3518/0/0). Fewer waste flakes are present against a higher proportion of tools, but the small amount of material does not appear significant.
