Full Description

{1} The northern half of Field 5 was investigated, a total of 7.04ha. A small quantity of Romano-British pottery was collected in an area to the south of the survey area. A slight concentration also occurs in the northern part of the field. The assemblage as a whole however, appears to reflect the extent of former manuring practice.
The entirity of Field 6 (5.24ha) was walked. However, only 2 sherds of Romano-British pottery were recovered.
