Full Description
{1} At the northern end of Area 3 is a pair of small, squarish high resistance anomalies, each about 10m across. A sharply defined band of much lower resistance about 5m wide passes between them and the overall layout is suggestive of a gatehouse, but this is little more than speculation.
{2} In 1307 the castle was said to contain a gate(house).
