Full Description

{1} Some 15m to the east of the C18th/C19th boundary ditch was a further ditch on the same alignment, 1.40m wide x 0.30m deep. This is the ditch which truncated the remains of the late medieval building. Its upper fills contained large quantities of demolition material, including stone and mortar, testifying to the continuing abandonment and demolition of the buildings here in the C19th.
