Full Description

{1} Below the colluvial layer in T2 was an east-west running ditch which extended 1.27m from the east-north-east end of the trench, and had a width of 1m at its widest point. The cut was fairly uniform with steep sloping sides down to a flat base at a depth of 0.58m. The fill was a dark black brown sandy silt. Although it contained no dateable material its morphology and position below the colluvium suggests a late prehistoric date.
