Full Description

{1} Trench 13 contained two linear ditches and a possible third. These ditches however do not appear to correspond with linear anomalies, possibly ditches, shown as part of the geophysical survey interpretation.
The ditches probably form part of a series of Iron Age/Romano-British field systems identified from cropmarks to the east and west of the proposed road corridor.
