Full Description
{1} Trench 3 revealed two probable furrows, wide, shallow, U-shaped features 0.5-0.6m wide. They were orientated north-east to south-west. A further unexcavated parallel feature in the north of the trench was also probably a furrow, east-west aligned.
The majority of features in Trenches 2 and 3 are likely to be the remains of furrows or other features associated with the prolonged use of the site for agricultural purposes. All features remain undated but are likely to be medieval or post medieval in origin.
