Full Description

{1} At the western end of Trench 19 was a dry stone wall of limestone construction, and adjacent (and parallel?) to the east a linear ditch 0.3m wide. The north-south alignment of the wall and ditch was parallel to the existing field boundary to the north-west, suggesting that this was also the purpose of the wall and ditch.
Further to the east was a 2m wide linear cut which remained unexcavated since it had modern pottery in its fill.
