Full Description

{1} Beneath the modern tarmac layer in Trench 1 was a C19th rubbish pit, towards the south-east of the trench. It appeared to cut through a post medieval plough soil.
A further C19th rubbish pit was recorded in Trench 3, this one contained abundant oyster shells. The rubbish pit had been truncated.
