Full Description

{1} The presence of a deep layer of quarry backfill material throughout the area of the four foundation trenches, together with the lack of any archaeological features and artefacts dating to before the post-medieval period, would suggests that the area of the development to the west of the former bakery buildings had been subjected to extensive quarrying during the post-medieval period.
