Full Description

{1} A ditch aligned north-west to south and up to 1.3m wide and 0.50m deep was observed in two trenches; likely to be the same ditch. Abraded pottery, probably Roman, was recovered from both sections. Given the abraded and undiagnostic nature of the ceramic assembalge it is possible that the ditch could be medieval in origin.
