Full Description
{1} A small group of nine pits were recorded within the investigation area following the removal of topsoil and subsoil. Whilst no dating evidence was recovered from these pits a small collection of unstratified late Iron Age pottery sherds found in the same area perhaps suggests a probable late Iron-Age to early Romano-British date range for these features, perhaps the 1st century AD.
