Full Description

{1} Magnetometry survey identified positive, linear anomalies likely to represent pairs of ditches. One of the pairs of ditches is represented by two parallel positive linear anomalies, c16m apart, running from the western field boundary to the northern edge of the survey area. The other pair is represented by two more closely spaced linear anomalies in the northeastern corner of the survey area. As only parts of these ditches have been detected it is hard to say what their purposes were and whether they would have been contemporary with the pit alignment.
