Abstract/Summary

MOLA Northampton was commissioned to carry out a detailed magnetometer survey on land east of Hayes Road, Deanshanger.The survey identified a prehistoric pit alignment, a possible prehistoric enclosure, possible elements of a Roman field system and undated quarry pits. A number of 19th-century field boundaries were also detected, as was the infilled Buckingham Arm of the Grand Union Canal.
