Full Description
{1} A detached stone-and-brick five-bay cart hovel. The five bays are divided from each other by
simple square-section piers of red brick with bullnose brick corners each of which supports a sawn
pine truss of queen post construction but with no apex. The roof is currently covered by square profile corrugated metal sheeting on the southern slope and corrugated asbestos on the northern slope. The floor is of concrete and three of the bays have been infilled with breeze block walls, the other two bays fitted with modern timber two-leaf doors.
