Full Description

{1} Methodist Chapel constructed on the eastern edge of Boughton village in 1804. Cost of erection was £150. It was built from Northants ironstone and originally had a thatched roof. In 1851 the chapel was re-roofed and renovated and was restoed again in 1868. By 1951, the roof was found to be in danger of collapse and it was re-roofed.

It is a single storey structure in Northants ironstone with a roof of machine-made tiles. The survey revealed that little structural evidence remained of the original chapel building.
