Full Description
{1} Analysis & photographs (particularly of possible construction or apotropaic marks on the timbers).
A stone gable end-on to the High Street has brick elevations of the late 18th or early 19th century under a slate-tiled roof. There is a further 20th century extension away from the road. Internally, joined timbers form a spine beam from end to end of the building. These timbers appear re-used, having little finesse about their placement, supported by posts apparently nailed into place.
The possibility that this building perhaps had some agricultural use at an earlier time may be considered.
